"What better way to honor America's Veterans and to preserve the memory of a loved one who served bravely for our country," said Lee Teicholz, who spearheaded the fundraising campaign.

Mayor Mark Boughton said, "The Veterans Walkway of Honor is a unique addition to the memorials in Rogers Park. As future generations travel the special path, they will be reminded of those who have served our country, and who have fought for our freedoms; hopefully bringing a sense of American pride to each visitor."

We also invite you to email us a photo and a short biography of the honoree. The photos and biographies will be used to create their own web page on the Veterans Walkway of Honor website.

Donít miss this great opportunity to be part of a permanent display to those who served our country.
